SimControlX serves as an advanced Instructor/Operator Station (IOS) for tablet users, compatible with Prepar3D®, X-Plane, and ELITE XTS flight simulators. This latest iteration enhances its predecessor, SimControl, by incorporating updated iOS support, various internal improvements, a modernized interface, and several new features.

The application utilizes Wi-Fi to connect seamlessly to the host simulator via a custom server software, which can be accessed from the official website. This convenience allows for a streamlined approach to flight simulation management.

SimControlX provides a robust array of functionalities designed to augment the user’s flight simulation experience. Users can reposition aircraft instantly, modify wind and weather conditions, and simulate engine failures or instrument malfunctions—all without leaving the pilot's seat or disrupting the ongoing simulation.
